Restaurant Manager
The client
Serving authentic Lebanese cuisine, a great variety of pizza and pasta dishes and having a strong reputation and great reviews online, our latest client Sicilian bar and restaurant is a family run business established since 1988. The restaurant is located at Ararat in Victoria and is spacious enough for functions, meetings and parties, up to a hundred people.
The role
As the business grows, they are currently looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take charge of the restaurant.
Some of the duties and tasks will include:
Train and develop a team of professionals.
Mentor, motivate and manage your team to achieve team targets.
Manage the day-to-day operation.
Be the main point of liaison and contact between kitchen and front of house.
Mingle with customers to seek ways to offer customer satisfaction
The requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager within an operation of a similar profile is essential
Excellent people and time management skills - ability to work with international staff;
Excellence in delivering quality customer service and customer satisfaction ratings including brand standards.
At least a Diploma of Management; local qualifications
Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster
Seeking a long term, full time role
Dynamic with a desire to be the best
Experience in local market
Solid wine knowledge
Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to speak Italian will be advantageous
