Sales and Marketing Manager
Our latest client is supplier of their own branded spring water and is based in Mt Gambier in South Australia. Their water are sourced from the regions containing limestone, as the water travels over the limestone it absorbs a natural mixture of minerals and electrolytes that gives our spring water the optimum alkaline PH level (8pH).
They are looking for a successful Sales and Marketing Manager to join their dynamic, professional and highly cultured team.
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a senior position. You will be required to coach and motivate your sales team. You will hold each person accountable to their targets, manage the pipelines and ensure overall smooth coordination of the Sales department. You will communicate effectively with directors and members of the team. You will carry out ongoing market analysis and use this information to steer sales strategy and activity. Through your strategic leadership you will achieve strong sales growth, while building key relationships and expanding brand awareness through targeted use of media and promotional opportunities.
In this role, you will be responsible for an array of duties including but not limited to:
Strategy and planning
Commercial relationships, sponsorships and partnerships
Skilled at market research & analysis, using the data and metrics to impact and improve market share.
Setting KPI’s, and leading your team to success through sound sales strategies.
Successfully selling and managing in a competitive market with a focus on taking market share from competitors through differentiating value.
Preparing a strong strategic approach to sales. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to develop a focused strategic sales plan and its successful implementation.
Developing sales teams that can effectively sell to a wide cross section of the community and at any level.
An accomplished Sales Manager who can achieve high performance through effective coaching, motivating and holding salespeople accountable.
Relevant local Bachelor degree qualifications
At least 2 years of relevant sales and marketing experience
A proven sales ability to build relationships with corporates
Extensive experience in managing a sales and marketing function including strategic marketing experience
Exposure to services and products which are primarily FMCG related.
A clear and effective leader, communicator and strong negotiator.
A highly capable marketing leader, with brand management and network management experience
A sales professional with a demonstrated background in expanding new markets and increasing market share.
Experienced in the use of CRM systems and in teaching others to use the systems effectively.
