Our client based in Palm Beach, Gold Coast, QLD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Motorcycle to join their team. The role is for a full time position.
The role
Our client is currently looking for a skilled and qualified Motorcycle Mechanic position to take up a full time role in their repair centre. This is an ideal opportunity to be part of the Mechanic team. You will be working in a fully equipped workshop in a friendly team environment.
You would have to be an enthusiastic, passionate, driven, friendly and customer-oriented motorcyclist as a start. This job is neither for the regular motorcycle mechanic nor for the feint hearted. Our customers enjoy a community-based culture whenever they visit the workshop or pop in to say G’day.
Some of the tasks include but are not limited to:
Servicing and Repairing and fault finding on a variety of motorcycles and scooters
Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components
Diagnostic expertise
Pre-Deliveries
Issue roadworthy certificates when required
Test riding completed jobs to verify work performed.
The requirements
Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
Certificate 4 in motorcycle mechanic
Relevant qualifications and work history
Current motorcycle license
Diagnostic and repair expertise
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment to achieve outcomes
A strong work ethic and be self-motivated to achieve targets
