The client
One of our clients Anderson Recruitment and Training are looking to hire skilled tradespeople for work within metropolitan New South Wales and regional areas. Candidates who are experienced and qualified are encouraged to apply.

The role
Our client is currently looking for skilled and qualified tradespeople in these positions:

• Carpenters and Joiners

• Painters

• Bricklayers

The positions are for full time arrangement.

The responsibilities will include

• Carpenters and Joiners

  • Australian Trade Qualification as a Carpenter

  • Valid Contractors licence and Insurance

  • Have previous experience with making moulds

  • Be willing to learn new skills

  • Be able to do workshop and site based work

  • Posses time management skills

  • Have high attention for detail

  • Possess all hand drills and tools

• Painters

  • Must be well presented.

  • Proven track record of dealing with a wide range of clientele.

  • Ideally a non smoker.

  • Must be able to work independently and be able to think on your feet.

  • Trade qualifications are a must.

  • Experience in tinting colours on site would be preferred.

  • Being competent in set plaster repairs would be an advantage.

  • Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence

• Bricklayers

  • Work from plans and specifications

  • Seal foundations

  • Build in door and window frames

  • Spread and remove mortar

  • Lay bricks/blocks

  • Check vertical and horizontal alignment of bricks

  • Repair and maintain bricks and blocks

  • Industry experience in all aspects of block or brick laying

  • Basic Hand Tools

  • Construction industry white or blue card
