Based in Sydney and equipped with a solid reputation for first class service, our client specialises in tailoring and clothing handling services. They deal mainly with residential type of work and also some commercial type of work.

The Role

Our client is now seeking an efficient, reliable and qualified Tailor to join their company on a full-time basis. You will have the opportunity to work within a growing company, which will supply you with career progression opportunities in the long-term.

Some of the duties and tasks will include:

• Conferring with customers

• Cutting master patterns

• Laying up and cutting fabric

• Making alterations

• Repairing and/or sewing garments

The Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants must:

• Have basic computer skills

• Have at least 4 years of commercial experience

• Be available to work weekends

• Have excellent customer service skills

• Be able to self-manage and work efficiently

• Display an excellent attention to detail

• Be motivated and enjoy working in a team
