The Client
Our client is a Christian church in Queensland. The church preaches the Christian faith; offers ministries for men, women and the youth community; as well as focuses on its strong values of family and worship.
They are now seeking a dedicated individual to join their community on a full-time basis as a Pastor. You will have the opportunity to work within a welcoming community, which will supply you with career progression opportunities in the long-term.
Some of the duties and tasks will include:
Providing leadership to ministries especially the ministry of youth and young adults
Organising small or large faith gatherings (including regular meetings and special events) aside from the regular church service schedule
Developing and mentoring leaders within the church community through local input and by connecting them to other resources
Providing mentoring to children and young people as well as adults (i.e. married couples, etc)
Preaching and teaching at gatherings and during service
The Requirements
To be successful in this role, applicants must:
Have authentic and passionate about the Christian faith
Be experienced in the development and delivery of each ministry
Proven experience in building relationships and engaging youth and young adults
Be able to inspire new ideas and initiatives that deliver agreed results
Be able to self-manage, be of a warm personality, and be motivated
