The Client
Based in Keilor, Melbourne, our client is a transport company renowned for its vast client base, speedy service and seamless networks.
The Role
They are now seeking an efficient, reliable and Transport Manager to join their business on a full-time basis. You will have the opportunity to work within a growing business, which will supply you with career progression opportunities in the long-term.
Some of the duties and tasks will include:
Liaising with clients to determine service requirements
Receiving orders and bookings and maintaining records
Planning transportation schedules
Arranging collection and delivery procedures
The Requirements
Minimum 2 years of commercial experience
At least a relevant Diploma qualification or similar
Previous experience working in the transport management industry preferred
Demonstrated level of exposure to leadership roles
Excellent people and time management skills
Understanding of financial reporting and skills in financial management
History of meeting and exceeding targets
Excellent presentation, analytical and communication skills
