The Client
Based in Docklands, Melbourne and equipped with a solid reputation for excellent customer service, our client specialises in hair and beauty services.
They are now seeking an efficient, reliable and skilled Hairdresser to join their business on a full-time basis. You will have the opportunity to work within a growing business, which will supply you with career progression opportunities in the long-term.
Some of the duties and tasks will include:
Conferring with clients on hair history, including products used and treatments
Analysing clients’ hair and other physical features to determine and recommend beauty treatments or hair styles
Shampooing, rinsing and conditional hair and scalp or hairpieces
Cutting, trimming and shaping hair or hairpieces using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors
Applying water, setting, straightening, or waving solutions to hair
Bleaching, dyeing or tinting hair using applicators or a brush
Massaging and treating scalp for hygienic and remedial purposes, using hands, fingers, or equipment
The Requirements
Possess relevant experience in the industry
Have qualifications in at least Certificate III / IV in Hairdressing
Ability to communicate in Hindi and Punjabi is preferred
Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
Be able to self-manage and work efficiently
Display an excellent attention to detail
Be motivated and enjoy working in a team
Be able to handle pressure in a professional manner
