The Client
Based in Moolap, Victoria, our latest client is an Australian-owned business that specialises in demolition and excavation work.
They are now seeking an efficient, reliable and skilled Landscape Architect to join their business on a full-time basis. You will have the opportunity to work within a growing business, which will supply you with career progression opportunities in the long-term.
The Role
Some of the duties and tasks will include:
Preparing and designing landscape concept plans and landscape reports
Monitoring and organising landscape designs and construction documents
Formulating land use and development recommendations
Preparing environmental impact statements
Determining project specifications regarding the type, style and size of demolition or excavation work
Providing information regarding project specifics, materials and estimated project time constraints
Compiling and analysing site and community data about geographical and ecological features
Liaising with clients, project teams and relevant stakeholders
The Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or similar
Ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience in local practices
Industry experience and relevant skills in design and documentation
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Photoshop, In-Design or 3D modelling and model-making
Excellence in graphic, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
Ability to work in a team and independently
A creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated outlook
