Restaurant Manager

The Client

Our latest client is a Japanese restaurant situated in Southport, Queensland, and is known to give excellent food coupled with excellent service. They are looking to hire a motivated individual to join their successful team as a full-time Restaurant Manager.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to work within a growing business, which will supply you with career progression opportunities in the long term. You will be a vibrant and proactive Restaurant Manager with a professional approach.

Some tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Training and developing a team of professionals

  • Mentoring, motivating and managing your team to achieve team target

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant

  • Be the main point of liaison and contact between kitchen and front of house

  • Mingling with customers to seek ways to offer customer satisfaction

The Requirements

  • Experience in a similar or relevant position

  • At least a Diploma of Management; local qualifications

  • Excellent people and time management skills

  • Understanding of financial reporting including costs, P&L, budgets

  • Demonstrated excellence in delivering quality customer service

  • Dynamic with a desire to be the best

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to work weekends and night shifts is essential
