Some of the tasks include but are not limited to:
Develop, monitor and maintain databases used by Australian Institute of Sport and Recreation, and ensure the optimum performance;
Administration compliance monitoring;
Administer and update database documentation, guidelines, policies and procedures;
E-Learning enrolments in MOODLE (online learning platform);
Regular test and monitoring of the database systems and upgrades, such as debugging, tracking, reproduction, logging and resolving all identified problems;
Student Enrolments in Student Management System (SMS);
Eligibility assessment for funding (DET Connect, QCAA LUI);
ensuring that the design of computer sites allows all components to fit together and work properly, and monitoring and adjusting the performance of networks; and
Maintenance of backups, recovery procedures, and enforcing security and integrity controls.
Possess at least a degree qualification in Information Systems and/or related
Experience in providing administration support
Prior experience with SQL 2008 and above, and Microsoft Excel
Possess high attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work productively in a team or independently
Knowledge about working with education sites, their common functionalities and their database requirements
