The Role
Our client takes great pride in delivery quality products and services and is looking for a vibrant and experienced team player to join its friendly team of amazing staff. The successful candidate will be reliable, patient, friendly and most importantly, passionate about customer service – willing to go above and beyond and keep customers coming back for more!
The Responsibilities
Ensuring smooth running and operations of the business
Taking reservations, greeting and advising customers
Assisting kitchen staff in planning menus
Setting KPIs and budgets
Handling customer enquiries
Overseeing stock level and ordering of supplies
Motivating staff and contributing to the restaurant’s friendly atmosphere
Recruiting and training of staff
Creating rosters
Bookkeeping and general administrative duties
Ensuring the compliance of workplace health and safety regulations
The Requirements
At least 2 years of proven managerial experience in a similar role
Understanding of financials, KPIs and reporting
Strong understanding of food handling practices and workplace safety regulations
Must be passionate about customer service
Possesses excellent leadership, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to multitask and stay motivated in a fast paced environment
Excellent attention to detail
Flexibility to work varying shifts depending on the business’s needs
