    Contract Administrator

    The Client

    Headquartered in Sydney, New South Wales, our latest client is a company that specialises in providing services in education and migration. They are now seeking to employ a full-time Contract Administrator.

     

     

    The Role

    You will have the opportunity to work within a growing business, which will supply you with career progression opportunities in the long term. You will be a proactive Contract Administrator with a professional approach.

     

     

    The Responsibilities

    Some tasks may include:

    • Organising weekly staff meetings, gathering weekly operating reports regarding the company’s contracts, programs and projects

    • Preparing weekly operating reports for the Director and advising senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions. This includes problems and opportunity identification, strategic planning to resolve the problems or to maximise the potential of benefit arising from the opportunity, the action plan and the resources required to implement the plan

    • Contacting and liaising with colleges and schools about contract partners, and following up with organisation plans

    • Supervising project teams and reporting on variations to work orders

    • Ensuring smooth information flow and maintaining accurate and effective communication channel for relevant stakeholders

    • Managing and resolving contract issues and escalating the issue to senior management where necessary

    • Advising management on progress of projects and operations of the business and overseeing the implementation of management decisions

    • Managing contracts, projects and necessary paperwork

     

    The Requirements:

    • At least 1 year of contract administration or related experience

    • At least a Diploma in Administration or Management

    • Excellent communication, negotiating, and time management skills

    • Strong analytical or problem solving skills

    • Ability to spot and identify opportunities to claim variations

    • A working knowledge of contract formats, specifics and fundamental contract law principles

    • Ability to work independently and with a team

    • Proven ability to multi-task and handle multiple contracts/projects at once

    • Ability to speak Thai is advantageous (as clientele demographics are towards that segment)

    • Willing to travel overseas (Thailand) for work
